About Me
A Lifelong Journey in Classical Dance
Born into a family of artistes, my journey in Indian classical dance began at the age of five under the guidance of my mother, Smt. Sreebala Menon. Over the years, I was fortunate to train in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam under renowned gurus including Dr. Sucheta Bhide Chapekar, Udyogamandal Vikraman, and Kalamandalam Saraswathi. I also received guidance in Sopana Sangeetham from Padmabhushan Shri Kavalam Narayana Panicker, shaping both my artistic and spiritual understanding of dance.

Background
For decades, I have been committed to sharing the beauty of Mohiniyattam with audiences beyond its traditional home in Kerala. Through performances, lecture demonstrations, workshops, and cultural exchanges, my mission has been to create a deeper appreciation for India's classical dance heritage across India and internationally.

Smt. Dr. Ayswaria Wariar is the Artistic Director of Nrityodaya Charitable Trust which is a non profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Indian cultural and spiritual heritage through the medium of classical dance.Her professional stature is the result of the dignified and ethical manner in which she has conducted herself on stage and off it; this is entirely aligned with the grace, beauty and sublime spiritual teachings of this pristine art form, Mohiniyattam.

Directed and produced a Mohiniyattam dance film, titled ‘Nilima-beyond the blue an exploration’. The film has won many accolades such as the best jury awarded at the global film awards.

Conferred the Kalashri title by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, Department of Culture, Government of Kerala
2010
Empanelled as an Established Artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, New Delhi.
